Friendship Group

This group brings together older prarishioners to share social outings, activities such as bush walking, concerts, film going, celebration of special events, and liaison with the school children to make them aware of the continuing interest the older generation has for the younger ones.

Godstart is a post baptismal program aimed at helping parents nurture the gift of faith in their pre-school children. The Godstart group organize delivery of 1st and 2nd birthday cards to young parishioners, and activity cards around the time of 3rd birthdays. The cards are beautifully designed, each with a parent insert, providing ideas for simple family prayer rituals. In October parents are invited to bring their 3 year olds to a ceremony of Dedication to Our Lady and reception of her medal. A morning tea gathering follows.
